US ‚certainly not pushing‘ Haiti PM to quit: White House

The White House says the US is „definitely not pushing“ the Haitian Prime Minister Ariel Henry to resign, after Washington said he should speed up a political transition. „That is not what we’re doing, but we have underscored that now is the time to finalize a political court to help set Haiti on a path to a better future. And that is something that we’ve been working on for some time,“ White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre says in a press briefing. SOUNDBITE
