Biden “considering” Australian call to drop charges against Julian Assange

The US is considering dropping the case against WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. According to President Biden, Australia’s repeated request to drop its prosecution charges is being “considered”. The 52-year-old has been in British custody for five years, and was previously granted asylum in the Ecuadorian embassy in London for seven years.
