On November 6, 2025, near Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, USA, the U.S. Coast Guard rescued five people from a life raft after their sailboat, Magic Bus, began taking on water 260 nautical miles offshore. The long-range mission involved an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter from Air Station Elizabeth City and coordination with the USS George H.W. Bush for refueling support. All five were safely recovered.
