EU chief Charles Michel arrives at Kyiv’s railway station for an unannounced visit to the Ukrainian capital, to mark the tenth anniversary of the start of the pro-European Maidan protest movement. The pro-European protest movement – in which around 100 civilians died in violent clashes with security forces in the capital – ultimately led to the ouster of Kremlin-backed President Viktor Yanukovych.
