Bolivia’s former president Evo Morales and several thousand of his supporters get ready to begin a march against his former ally, leftist President Luis Arce, along a 190-kilometer route to La Paz, while the government accuses them of conspiratorial motives. The march of around 4,000 people is a protest against Arce’s government, which they accuse of using the Judicial and Electoral powers to block Morales‘ candidacy for the August 2025 elections and in response to the economic crisis, evident in the shortage of dollars and fuel.
