Myanmar’s junta opens polling in the third and final phase of an election which democracy watchdogs say will only prolong its grip on power. Polling opened around 6 am (2330 Saturday GMT) in the second city of Mandalay, with the pro-military Union Solidarity and Development Party already on track for a landslide win. IMAGES
