Eight dead after South Korean tanker capsizes in rough seas off Japan

A South Korean tanker capsized off the southwestern coast of Japan on Wednesday. Nine of the eleven crew members aboard the Keoyoung Sun were recovered by the coast guard, but sadly eight were pronounced dead at a hospital. The search continues for the two remaining missing. The tanker was carrying 980 tonnes of acrylic acid when it capsized – no leaks have been reported.
