London residents have shared their opinions after members of parliament recently passed the Safety of Rwanda bill.
The UK government has passed the bill to stop irregular immigration by deporting asylum seekers to Rwanda, an East African country.
Catherine Phillips, a retiree, expressed her embarrassment at living in a country that would pass such a law and stated that she finds it appalling.
On the other hand, Ralph Candlish, another London resident, supports the government’s decision, stating that it is a sad situation, but the country cannot allow foreigners to invade it.
