Mexico’s national guard secures a Forensic Medical Service building in Acapulco, where the body of recently elected mayor Salvador Villalba Flores is being kept after he was assassinated. Villalba — who was to take office in October in Copala, a town of about 4,000 residents about 130 kilometers (80 miles) southeast of Acapulco — was shot dead while traveling on a highway, according to prosecutors in Guerrero state.
