Peruvian police have seized more than a tonne of cocaine in two operations at the end of April. One shipment was planned to be sent to Bolivia by backpackers via secret airfields in the jungle. The second came from Mexico and was declared as medical cargo destined for Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
