A boater was rescued by the US Coast Guard on September 27 after his 40-foot wooden fishing vessel Tyee sank near Murder Cove off Admiralty Island, Alaska, forcing him to don a survival suit, board a life raft and eventually swim to shore after the raft also began taking on water.
