Wooden panels from the second solar boat of Pharaoh Khufu were transferred from a restoration center to an exhibition hall at the Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza, west of Egypt’s capital Cairo, as part of preparations to assemble the ancient vessel, museum officials said, with part of the process carried out in front of visitors.
