Conservation specialists from Gaziantep Regional Restoration and Conservation Laboratory are using nanotechnology to reinforce the ancient stone statues at Mount Nemrut in Adiyaman, Turkey, sealing cracks with lime-based mortar to protect the UNESCO World Heritage Site from water damage, harsh weather and natural deterioration.
