Hundreds of ballooning enthusiasts gathered at Ashton Court Estate in Bristol at just after 6am on August 7 for the opening ceremony of the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta, now in its 48th year, watching dozens of balloons of all shapes and sizes take to the skies including a screwdriver, a scarecrow and a giant suitcase.
