A fire broke out at Asian Hospital in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra at around 3am on September 4 while 58 patients were receiving treatment, including nine infants in the PICU and NICU, prompting a rapid overnight evacuation as smoke from an electrical short circuit filled the wards.
