A Pasco Sheriff’s Office drone unit located a missing man who had wandered into woodland near San Antonio, Florida, in the early hours of July 2, using thermal imaging to pick out his body heat against the surrounding vegetation. The drone was deployed at around 3.25am after deputies received a report of a missing endangered adult, with the aerial unit quickly pinpointing his location and guiding ground crews directly to him.
