A 37-year-old paraglider was airlifted to hospital after his canopy folded mid-air during a round of the Andalusia Paragliding Championship near Pegalajar, Jaen, forcing him to deploy his emergency parachute and crash-land on a steep hillside in the Sierra Magina range on July 5.
