A woman was rescued after she fell into the Kern River near California’s Sierra Nevada mountain range on July 25. She was forced to cling to rocks after the raging rapids quickly carried her downstream. Kern River is one of the deadliest rivers in the US, 348 people have died since tracking began in 1968.
