A bizarre sight startled passersby in a Beijing park in mid-August, as a man rode a four-legged robot horse along the walkways. The machine, called „Qiji X1,“ was built by startup DaxAI for rugged terrain and was presented at the World Robot Conference in Beijing. Weighing 300 kilograms, the robotic steed can reach speeds of up to 10 km/h.
