The death toll from Wednesday’s earthquake in Taiwan has risen to ten. More than 1,000 people have been injured in the 7.4-magnitude quake, the biggest to hit Taiwan in 25 years. Taiwan’s Prime Minister Chen Chien-jen has declared the region around Hualien a disaster area. Terrifying footage also shows two TV presenters continuing with their programme as the quake hit.
