Video: Archaeologists discover 8,000-year-old figs in Turkish cave


Archaeologists have discovered carbonized fig remains dating to around 6300 BC at Andik Cave in northwestern Turkey, showing the fruit has been consumed in the region since the Neolithic period. Barley, wheat and stone tools were also found at the site.
